Perfection is something that a lot of people pursues. Everybody wants to be perfect and meet the blessings of that condition. But why should a perfect being living on Earth?
Perfection challenges everything. Our society is very far from perfection, and I can´t imagine how far we are from it. If our seek for perfection turn our lives into an empty journey, will it be worthy? I Hardly think so. You can live your life like monks do. Far away from problems and the challenges and shape our minds and thoughts, far from violence and society, far from politics and tough decisions that changes everything. I think nothing can be further from perfection than this. It is exactly the opposite of general thinking.
We make mistakes all the time, bad things, good things, actions that have a vast impact on our realities and on the other people´s too.
If each day we live in sin, is each day we seek to don´t repeat it, and also to live for progression, not perfection, we will be close to what is the true target in life (my opinion only). If we live in guilty we will be specters of hollow and will learn nothing from mistakes. Guilty is the problem of the sin, punishment divine is the lesser of our problems. Our own punishment means our worst fears comming true.
God, in all His wisdom knows we are far from perfection. If HE couldn´t understand this, is He God? This simple phrase would end the dark ages, thousand years of sin and guilty in the name of God (a surely perfect being) which in His moral ground did nothing to change the situation for us. Why? Because everything was caused by our moral ground. It was up to ourselves to run away from that condition. As now it is up to ourselves to evolute in peace and prosperity.
We pray to God to ask for protection and for a clear mind, but the decisions and actions are our fully responsability. Blame God and you are blamming yourself. Seek perfection without run away from reality and you are in the right path.
